Overview
Oriki Cosmeceuticals is based in Westminster, California, and was started by biochemist Dr. Tuan Nguyen. Dr. Nguyen is a board-certified member of the American Dermatological Association and has been in charge of the formulation of all Oriki products since the company’s inception. The company apparently prides itself on attention to detail and currently offers several products for various skin types. Oriki offers an eye treatment formula called Firming Eye Serum, which the company claims is like an “Eye Lift in a Bottle.” While this does seem to be quite a goal to achieve, we reserved our final judgment of the formula until we completed our independent review.
Featured Ingredients
Oriki Firming Eye Serum is formulated to help lift and firm the skin, soothing out wrinkles and fine lines in the process, while also helping to reduce puffiness and the appearance of dark circles. According to the company, the formula attains this effect by its inclusion of a specific Vitamin C concentrate, in addition to various botanical extracts. Unfortunately, all of our efforts to find out what these botanicals were - and how they could reduce the appearance of puffiness or dark circles - proved pointless. While there is some research that suggests how Vitamin C can protect the skin against free radicals and other damaging factors that cause crow’s feet and other wrinkles to appear, we are not sure if Oriki’s Firming Eye Serum contains the right kind of Vitamin C at the correct concentrated amount. In addition, the company does not disclose the exact name of the botanical extracts in the formula, so we cannot evaluate how well this formula will actually address puffiness or dark circles.
Web Site Description
The Oriki web site contains a fair amount of information on the company and its products. It does have a fairly accurate depiction of the human skin and how it ages, and there are a few customer testimonials posted on the web site as well. Products can be ordered directly from the site, and the Firming Eye Serum is currently priced at $95 a bottle. There is no free trial offered, but the customer service department is available to handle any questions and facilitate refunds if the customer is not satisfied with the product. While this is reassuring, we were quick to note the overall lack of specific information about the Oriki products, especially the Firming Eye Serum. By not disclosing the specific ingredients in the formula or how it has worked in customers, Oriki has prevented us from completed our full review of this product.
Positives

Conclusion
Even though we do not doubt Dr. Nguyen’s expertise or his credentials, the team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com has to admit being disappointed that the company does not fully reveal the ingredients in its Firming Eye Serum. Without this important information, we cannot recommend this product at this time. Hopefully, the company responds to our inquiries soon and reports on the specific ingredients so that we can one day complete our analysis.
