It offers a wide array of cosmeceutical formulas, most of which are based on the proprietary ingredient developed by Kinerase, which is called Kinetin. According to research conducted by the company, Kinetin offers many anti-aging effects. The company does offer a formula specifically for the eye area, which is called Under Eye Rescue. Based on the successful effects of the other formulas in the Kinerase line, we decided to review this formula as well.

As opposed to other formulas in the eye care field, Kinerase does not claim that its Under Eye Rescue formula will address all types of problems near the eye. Instead, this formula seems to be specifically designed to reduce the appearance of undereye circles (puffiness), which is a common problem for both men and women. We appreciate the company’s honesty, since too many manufacturers make outlandish claims that their products will “do it all.”

Kinerase Under Eye Rescue contains the company’s unique ingredient, called Kinetin. Kinetin is a specific combination of nutrients derived from many botanical sources. When applied to the skin, Kinetin does seem to have a positive effect in reducing wrinkles and encouraging the retention of moisture, which results is soft, younger looking skin. The Under Eye Rescue also contains Eyeseryl Tetrapeptide, a compound that helps soothe under eye puffiness.

The Kinerase web site is clear and comprehensive. It provides plenty of information about its products, and gives a full description of its unique Kinetin ingredient complex. Unfortunately, the site could use similar statistics and information on its other ingredients, especially any clinical studies on the ingredients in Under Eye Rescue that verify its anti-aging effects. In addition, we would feel better if consumers had the chance to try this formula for free.

Conclusion
Even though we have every reason to believe that Kinerase Under Eye Rescue will in fact reduce the appearance of puffiness under the eye, we would feel better about recommending this product if the web site contained more scientific information about the ingredients in this specific formula. In addition, since this product does not address dark circles or other eye-area problems, it is probably best used as part of a system.
