Overview
Eye Renewal Collection by Dermitàge continues to be one of the highest rated and most requested eye care systems on this web site. The research team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com has been impressed with this two-step system, not only because it is one of the only systems we know of that includes separate formulas for dark circles and one for crow’s feet and puffiness. Together, the two formulas (Dark Circle Crème and Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum) work synergistically to create an overall effect on the eyes that makes them look brighter, younger and more vibrant than before. In addition, we are impressed by the fact that each formula in Eye Renewal Collection features some of the leading ingredients and ingredient complexes found to revitalized and reverse the appearance of aging near the eyes.

Featured Ingredients
Lipolight - This patented microporous nutrient both emits and diffuses light to reduce skin imperfections, including dark circles and dulled skin. In addition, Lipolight reflects light off the skin’s surface, which gives you a “soft focus” appearance that adds a youthful glow to your overall look. Actiflow - Stimulates circulation to the eye area by strengthening blood vessels and reducing a major cause of dark circles and eye puffiness. Helps give skin a smooth, even tone.Lifting Spheres - Composed of natural materials derived from vegetables, Lifting Spheres absorb the moisture that normally exist your skin cells. After absorbing this moisture, the Lifting Spheres swell to several times their size. This plumping effect lifts skin from underneath and helps smooth out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Glucosamine Complex - Glucosamine Complex is a mineral-based ingredient that helps to gently yet powerfully exfoliate skin. Glucosamine Complex encourages young, fresh and newly created skin cells to rise to the surface, where they help retain the skin’s youthful appearance. Studies suggest that Glucosamine Complex also can help boost collagen production by as much as 168%.

Overview
Dermitàge offers a special Dark Circle Eye Crème as part of its two-step Eye Renewal Collection. This dual-purpose formula was developed to not only lighten and brighten the skin to help diminish the appearance of dark circles, but it also contains ingredients designed to help reduce under-eye puffiness and smooth out skin near the eyes. While this double-action does seem to be an ambitious goal, we at EyeWrinkleReviews.com keep an open mind before reviewing the products on this web site. As we looked further into Dark Circle Eye Crème and analyzed its active ingredients, we were left with a favorable impression of this formula.

Featured Ingredients
Lipolight - <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Dark Circle</st1:address></st1:street> Eye Crème from Dermitàge features a unique ingredient known as Lipolight. According to the scientists who developed it, this patented ingredient complex was created using a combination of natural fibers and microporous particles that both emit and diffuse visible light. As Lipolight absorbs UV light, it scatters and re-emits that light at different wavelengths. When Lipolight is added to skin, this diffusion and emission process dramatically reduces the appearance of dark circles, discoloration and other skin imperfections. In addition, Lipolight reflects light off the skin’s surface, which gives you a “soft focus” appearance that adds a youthful glow to your overall look.

Actiflow - <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Dark Circle</st1:address></st1:street> Eye Crème also contains Actiflow, another unique complex that specifically targets and promotes healthier skin near the eyes. It contains the active ingredients from a botanical (Saccharomyces) used in the fermentation of wine, beer and other beverages. Years ago, researchers discovered that Saccharomyces helps strengthen blood vessels and regulates circulation throughout the skin. Since abnormal blood circulation is a key cause of dark circles and imperfections such as under-eye puffiness, Actiflow was created to contain Saccharomyces at a therapeutic concentration. When applied to skin, Actiflow helps maintain healthy blood flow, which helps lighten dark circles and gives skin a smooth, even tone. Full Ingredient List
Like the other products contained in the Dermitàge Eye Renewal Collection, the Dark Circle Eye Crème does not have its own web site. Rather, information on this product can be gathered by visiting the company’s main web site at www.dermitage.com. As previously mentioned in other entries, this web site contains a simple layout and easy to read descriptions of its products. The science behind Dark Circle Eye Crème is clearly presented and convincing. In addition, the web site contains several testimonials from real people who have used Dark Circle Eye Crème, as well as the other products in the Eye Renewal Collection. More importantly, the web site posts clear information about how consumers can try the entire collection risk-free.Positives
- Lipolight both emits and diffuses light to reduce dark circles

- Actiflow stimulates circulation to reduce dark circles and under-eye puffiness

- Unique combination of ingredients not found anywhere else

- Free trial is available - this a full sized supply, not a tiny sample size

Negatives
- Only available as part of the Eye Renewal Collection (not for individual sale)

- Not found in retail stores - Dermitàge wishes to keep the price low, so it is available directly through their web site

Conclusion
For those men and women who suffer from dark circles and/or under-eye puffiness, Dark Circle Eye Crème from Dermitàge makes a wise choice. This formula contains the right type and amount of ingredients that can help both problems. As part of the three-step Eye Renewal Collection, Dark Circle Eye Crème provides a foundation for looking younger, which many consumers will appreciate. The fact that this collection is available to try risk-free makes us feel even more confident in recommending the formula.

Overview
The second step in Dermitàge’s renowned Eye Renewal Collection includes use of its impressive Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum. According to the researchers who developed this formula, it is specially designed to target the crow’s feet and fine lines that appear within and around the delicate skin of the eyes. Much like the anti-aging skincare products in the rest of the Dermitàge line, this formula achieves this by employing the unique Regenex complex of ingredient, which includes the always-powerful Glucosamine Complex and patented Lifting Spheres. But Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum also contains an additional ingredient that is supposed to dramatically lift the folds of skin and creases that can form near the corners of the eye. While these ingredients seem promising, only a thorough investigation by the team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com could discover if this formula delivers as promised.

Featured Ingredients
Glucosamine Complex - According to our records, Dermitàge remains one of the few cosmeceutical companies to include this powerful ingredient in its formulas. This is impressive, since Glucosamine Complex has emerged as a leading anti-aging ingredient. Known for its effects on wrinkled skin on the entire face, studies suggest that it can also be a powerful ally against Crow’s feet and other types of wrinkles and lines that form near the eye. Glucosamine Complex is gentle enough that it won’t irritate the delicate skin of the eye area. But it also performs a powerful renewal effect that helps clear away dead and wrinkle skin, replacing it with healthy, young skin that is not marred by aging. More importantly, since Glucosamine Complex boosts collagen production by as much as 168%, it helps to prevent future crow’s feet from appearing.Lifting Spheres - Rather than filling wrinkles with artificial ingredients or toxic compounds like Botox, the Dermitàge Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum takes a more natural approach to firming and tightening skin. Lifting Spheres consist of organic vegetable-derived material that is elastic and flexible. Upon penetrating into the inner layers of skin, Lifting Spheres capture moisture as it leaves skin cells as a natural part of the aging process. After capturing this moisture, the Spheres swell in size and begin to push up skin from underneath. Considering that thousands of Lifting Spheres are delivered to skin with each application, this results in a dramatic lifting effect that helps smooth out wrinkles, even crow’s feet, from underneath.

Pepha-Tight - In the search to find alternatives to Botox and other artificial skin tighteners, scientists have explored the use of various natural substances. Some of the most promising include plants and animals found in the ocean. Specifically, researchers have discovered that a rare sea algae (Nannochloropsis) is very rich in certain nutrients that have remarkable benefits for human skin. Those nutrients have been combined into one patented ingredient, called Pepha-Tight. When topically delivered to skin, Pepha-Tight causes an instant and noticeable tightening effect on the skin, without any of the side effects or risks associated with artificial chemicals. During clinical research, scientists found that Pepha-Tight produced a 120% improvement in skin tightening compared to a placebo cream. In addition, more than 60% of first-time users found that Pepha-Tight worked after the initial application.

Full Ingredient List
Water, Glycerin, PEG–40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polydodecanamideaminium Triazadiphenylethenesulfonate, Pullulan, Algae Extract, Camellia oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Camellia sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, Laminaria digitata (Algae) Extract, Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Yeast) Extract, Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Butylene Glycol, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Acacia Senegal Gum, Allantoin, Urea, Glucosamine HCl, PEG–12 Glyceryl Distearate, PEG–23 Glyceryl Distearate, Polyvinylalcohol Crosspolymer, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, HexyleneGlycol.

Web Site Description
Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum does not have its own web site, since this formula can only be purchased as part of the two-step Eye Renewal Collection. Most of the information available on this product will be found on www.dermitage.com, which also describes the company’s Anti-Aging line of products. We found the web site to be quite clear in its presentation of the formulas and the science behind the development of the products. The emphasis seems to be simply on giving consumers the information they need to determine if the Eye Renewal Collection is something they would like to try. The web site does give a clear and compelling reason for choosing the risk-free trial, which would be useful for most new consumers.

Positives
- Glucosamine Complex is gentle on eye area skin but also powerful in combating crow’s feet

- Lifting Spheres provide a natural alternative to Botox and other skin lifters

- Pepha-Tight also helps lift and tighten sagging skin near the eyes

- Consumers get a chance to try the entire system for free before deciding if it’s right for them

Negatives
- This product can only be bought directly from Dermitàge Conclusion
While many products claim to powerfully reduce the appearance of crow’s feet and other wrinkles that form near the eye, often these products contain harsh ingredients that can damage the delicate eye area skin. That’s not the case with Dermitàge’s Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum. It contains the right blend of ingredients that help lift and renew skin without damaging it. Plus, the free trial helps keep financial risk very low, which means that most people will probably notice some benefits in their eye-area wrinkles within a few days. Especially when compared to other eye care formulas available, Anti-Wrinkle Serum deserves serious consideration.

Overview
In the search to find ingredients that can help reduce the appearance of dark circles, one can easily become confused by the wide array of skin brighteners, bleaching ingredients and light diffusing compounds on the market. While many of these methods will help dark circles to fade, some cause less-than-desirable side effects that can seem less attractive than the dark circles themselves. However, every now and then an ingredient becomes available that offers a unique way of reducing these unsightly imperfections. Lipolight seems to be one of those ingredients.

Featured Ingredients
Lipolight was created by a group of scientists who discovered that certain microscopic fibers, when combined with a specific blend of pigments and light-diffusing molecules, could have a dramatic and visible effect on the appearance of dark circles. They found that, when applied to skin, this combination absorbed, emitted and re-directed light across several wavelengths. To the naked eye, the effect makes dark circles look less visible. Almost invisible. The scientists called this combination Lipolight, and it is now considered one of the most effect non-injection and non-chemical ways of reducing dark circles. It also seems to work on other skin imperfections and discoloration, giving skin a soft glow that captures the youthful beauty that many thought was lost forever. Especially when combined with certain circulation-enhancing ingredients (such as Actiflow), Lipolight can make eyes look bright, light and more stunning before.

Web Site Description
Since Lipolight is an individual ingredient used in a limited number of skincare products, it does not have its own exclusive web site. To find out more about this remarkable brightening compound, it is best to find a product that contains it, such as Eye Renewal Collection from Dermitàge. Much of the technical research on Lipolight is protected by pending patent files, but our search of this data revealed that this nutrient does have a dramatic effect on dark circles.

Positives
- Reduces dark circles without the use of bleaching ingredients

- Absorbs, emits and reflects light to make eyes look brighter and lighter

- Also adds a soft glow to skin

Negatives
- Not available for individual sale - only found as part of a complex within a few formulas Conclusion
Considering the remarkable and unique effects that Lipolight has on dark circles and other skin imperfections, it is surprising that more cosmeceutical companies don’t include it as part of their eye care formulas. Hopefully, as products like Eye Renewal Collection become more popular and the news about Lipolight spreads, other companies will catch on and provide consumers the opportunity to effectively reduce dark circles without having to rely on bleaching compounds or harsh chemicals.

Overview
To reduce dark circles and improve the overall appearance of the eye area, it is not only essential to use ingredients that can lighten and brighten the skin. It is also crucial to give the skin specific nutrients that can revitalize circulation in the skin, since poor circulation of blood is one of the primary causes of dark circles, puffiness and other types of discoloration and skin imperfection. Recently, the team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com became informed that a new compound, called Actiflow, has been developed for use in topical formulas intended to reduce dark circles. Like other ingredients on this web site, the team decided to gather research data and conduct an in-depth analysis of Actiflow.

Featured Ingredients
Actiflow is the culmination of years of research on various biological compounds that seem to have a beneficial effect on the skin. One class of these compounds is the group of nutrients called Saccharomyces. For decades, Saccharomyces have been used as part of the fermentation process for making wine, beer and similar beverages. Because of their ability to promote the circulation and efficient flow of liquid-based nutrients, Saccharomyces have long been suspected as a possible therapeutic nutrients. After years of research, scientists discovered that delivered Saccharomyces to skin helps promote blood flow and enhances circulation.

Based on this discovery, researchers created Actiflow, which contains Saccharomyces at the correct therapeutic concentration. When applied to eye-area skin, Actiflow helps the body to maintain a healthy blood flow, which helps reduce and prevent dark circles from appearing. This compound also promotes a smooth, even tone to skin, since it helps blood, oxygen and other vital nutrients to get to the skin. Web Site Description
Actiflow does not have its own web site, since this individual ingredient only appears as an active ingredient within specific eye care formulas. In addition, since Actiflow is a highly unique and scientifically developed ingredient, much of the research information on this ingredient is protected under patent laws. However, consumers can find some basic information about Actiflow by visiting web sites of products that contain this ingredient. One such product is Eye Renewal Collection by Dermitàge. You can read more information about the products in their system on this web site.

Positives
- Promotes blood flow to the skin, which helps reduce dark circles

- Increased circulation also helps prevent future dark circles

- Also seems to have a positive effect on undereye puffiness and bags

- Especially effective when paired with Lipolight, a specialized skin brightener

Negatives
- Not available as an individual product - can only be used as part of a skincare combination formulaConclusion
As impressive as the effects of Actiflow seem to be, it’s a bit disappointing that more eye care products don’t include this essential ingredient, since it helps to reduce and prevent dark circles. Some formulas, like Eye Renewal, combine Actiflow with other therapeutic ingredients that improve the appearance of the eye area. It is our hope that more people will soon discover how Actiflow can improve circulation to the eye and reduce dark circles, puffiness and other skin irregularities.

Overview
In addition to reducing dark circles and under-eye puffiness, many consumers are looking for an effective way to diminish crow’s feet and other types of wrinkles and fine lines that can form near the eye. While many skincare formulas contain ingredients that can reduce wrinkles on the entire face, the skin near the eye is especially delicate. This fact is why crow’s feet tend to be the first signs of aging skin that appear on the face. But it also means that an eye care product should contain ingredients that are powerful enough to reduce wrinkles, yet gentle enough so that irritation or harsh side effects do not occur in the eye area. Glucosamine Complex seems to be one of these ingredients, since it already has shown a positive effect on facial wrinkles, without causing irritation. The question that we had, however, was whether it could specifically work on crow’s feet and other eye-area problems.

Featured Ingredients
Glucosamine Complex is a specialized form of glucosamine sulfate, which is a supplemental nutrient that has many positive effects on the body. Glucosamine is found in the body since birth and exists in high concentrations in many types of plant foods. When humans consume glucosamine, the body uses this nutrient compound as a constituent to promote the health of connective tissue, such as joints, hair, skin and nails. Therefore, Glucosamine is essential to keeping skin resistant to the external factors (such as sun exposure, wind, harsh weather and airborne toxins) that can age it prematurely. Since Glucosamine can be hard to obtain as we age, and levels diminish over the years, supplementing with this nutrient has been found to have many beneficial effects for the body. When applied topically, Glucosamine helps stimulate the natural cellular renewal process that automatically occurs. This process makes sure that old, dead and wrinkled skin is removed from the surface and replaced with young, fresh and healthy skin that is free from wrinkles. Glucosamine helps ensure this process continues, even into old age. In addition, when Glucosamine is delivered into the inner layers of skin, it stimulates production of collagen (sometimes as much as 168%) to further reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Web Site Description
Since Glucosamine Complex does not exist as its own product, there is no separate web site for this ingredient. Instead, consumers will need to find a product that contains Glucosamine Complex and visit that product’s web site to find out more about it. While some products do contain this ingredient, only a few eye care formulas contain Glucosamine Complex. One product that does is the Eye Renewal Collection by Dermitàge. You can read the review of this system here to find out if it is one you might want to try out to reduce dark circles, crow’s feet and other signs of aging near the eyes.

Positives
- Natural component of young, healthy skin

- Helps exfoliate dead and wrinkled skin off the surface

- Promotes natural skin renewal process

- Also boosts collagen production by as much as 168%

- Gentle enough so that the delicate skin near the eyes is not irritated

Negatives
- Not available as an individual product - consumers must find a formula that includes it

Conclusion
After analyzing the scientific data on Glucosamine Complex, the team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com feels that this ingredient should be an essential component of any formula that is intended to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet, fine lines and other wrinkles that can affect the eye area. Glucosamine Complex seems like a top choice, since it not only helps renew skin but also boosts collagen production. This dual-action seems to be a wise choice for those who want to fight the effect of aging and make their eyes look younger.

Overview
When the skin near the eyes becomes weakened - due to the natural aging process or the effects of external factors such as sun exposure and airborne toxins - crow’s feet and other types of wrinkles can form, making one look older than they are. It is no surprise then, that many people actively seek skincare formulas and ingredients that can specifically target crow’s feet and provide a lift to skin that makes skin appear younger. More importantly, many men and women do not want to subject their skin to Botox® or other types of injections to do this because they wish to avoid needles or the side effects that these treatments can cause. But topical formulas can seem weak in comparison. For this reason, the team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com was skeptical when we became informed of the new development called Lifting Spheres. We decided to look into this ingredient to see if it was just a fantasy.

Featured Ingredients
Lifting Spheres consist of microscopic bubbles that are manufactured out of biological material derived from vegetables. These Spheres are delivered through the use of a topical formula, such as cream or lotion. When they penetrate into the skin’s deeper layers, the Spheres (which are empty) capture moisture as it leaves skin cells as part of the normal aging process. Normally, this moisture would exit the cell and become excreted by the body. But Lifting Spheres are designed to capture this moisture and use it to benefit the skin.

As Lifting Spheres absorb moisture, they gently swell to several times their own size. Since thousands of these bubbles are delivered at once, it is easy to imagine that the cumulative effect of Lifting Spheres swelling with moisture is then to lift up the layers of skin from underneath. In skin that has been damaged by weather, aging or both, Lifting Spheres thus help to smooth out wrinkles, fine lines and other signs of aging. More importantly, since Lifting Spheres does not involve the use of needles for delivery (or the use of harsh chemicals for manufacturing), the whole wrinkle elimination process is gentle on skin. This seems especially appropriate for the delicate skin near the eyes, which can be negatively affected by crow’s feet.

Web Site Description
Lifting Spheres do not have their own exclusive web site, but information on this ingredient can be found by finding a formula (like Dermitàge Eye Renewal Collection) that contains it. Due to patent protections and other legal matters, much of the scientific information on Lifting Spheres is not available to the general public. But after looking at this information, the team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com has become convinced that Lifting Spheres do perform a positive effect on the skin without side effects.

Positives
- Use the body’s natural moisture content to counteract wrinkles

- Lift up and smooth out crow’s feet from underneath

- No needles, injections or harsh chemicals used in production

- Can be combined with other pro-eye nutrients such as Glucosamine Complex

Negatives
- To the best of our knowledge, only Dermitàge Eye Renewal Collection has been authorized by the makers of Lifting Spheres to use it in their eye care system

Conclusion
In addition to other wrinkle-fighting ingredients such as Glucosamine Complex, it is encouraging to know that cosmeceutical scientists are developing naturally beneficial compounds like Lifting Spheres to battle the aging process. These safe and effective Spheres should be part of every eye care formula or system, in our opinion. We recommend that you strongly consider any formula that includes Lifting Spheres.

Overview
IQ Derma contains of a two-part system designed to brighten dark circles, reduce undereye puffiness and diminish crow’s feet and other wrinkles in the eye area. After visiting the web site for this system, which is designed and marketed by Intelligent Beauty (based in Southern California), we noticed the claim that 100% of women noticed an improvement in the look of their eyes after using IQ Derma in 6 weeks. That seems like a bold claim, even if it took six weeks to see such effects, so the team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com decided to look further into the specifics of the effects of IQ Derma, and how it compares to other eye care systems.

Featured Ingredients
IQ Derma consists of two formulas: RestorEyes (a firming eye treatment) and iDisquise (a firming eye concealer). We will review each product separately.

RestorEyes is intended to reduce dark circles and improve the overall look of the eyes by also diminishing crow’s feet and wrinkles in the eye area. It includes three active compounds: Haloxyl, Grantox and Dermaxyl. Haloxyl consists of natural enzymes that are supposed to break down and absorb the pooled blood that clogs and causes dark circles to appear. Grantox is intended to mimic the effects of Botox®, specifically by relaxing the muscles near the eye area so they are less likely to crinkle and crease. While there is not a lot of information available on Dermaxyl, since this seems to be Intelligent Beauty’s proprietary ingredient, it seems to be a complex of peptides (protein precursors) that decrease the volume and depth of eye wrinkles.

iDisquise was formulated to also reduce dark circles and diminish eye-area wrinkles, but it is also used to decrease undereye puffiness. Like the RestoreEyes formula, it contains Haloxyl and Dermaxyl, which seems a curious (an perhaps unnecessary) choice that could be seen as redundant. However, iDisquise does contain a unique ingredient called EyeLiss, which is supposed to improve blood flow to the under eye area to reduce puffiness and bags.

Web Site Description
The primary web site for the IQ Derma system seems to be primarily focused on marketing the system’s 2-week free trial. It does contain a few details on these ingredients, as well as some information on the clinical studies conducted on the individual components of the system. It is interesting to note that, while the company touts its 100% improvement statistic, further investigation revealed that this measured “overall improvement.” When it came to specific measurements and improvements, the results were less than 100%. While this is understandable, we wish Intelligent Beauty had not hidden these statistics, including the fact that only 76% of customers saw a reduction in dark circles after using the system for six weeks or longer. The rest of the web site does, however, include plenty of information, including details about the free trial, testimonials from satisfied customers and similar features.

Positives
- Does seem to reduce dark circles, puffiness and crow’s feet in a majority of customers

- Offers a free trial of the system

Negatives
- Does not contain Lipolight, a powerful light emitter and reflector, to further reduce dark circles

- Product may take as long as six weeks to work

- Does not contain an eyelash revitalizing formula

Conclusion
We do not doubt that most people who use IQ Derma will notice improvements in the appearance of their dark circles and crow’s feet. The question is whether most people will want to wait six weeks to see these effects, since this is the time used for the clinical study. In addition, we were slightly disappointed to see that IQ Derma did not contain an eyelash formula, since this is also an important factor in promoting beauty in the eye area. We give IQ Derma a tentative recommendation, but feel there are probably more complete systems that work a bit faster.

Overview
Offered by Hydroderm Beverly Hills, the well-known online cosmetic company, Hydroderm Triple Effects Eye Serum is meant to address three problems within one formula. This product is intended to reduce dark circles, crow’s feet and eye puffiness all at one. While this seems like a tall order, the team at EyeWrinkleReviews.com always keeps an open mind when reviewing the products for this web site. Therefore, we decided to hold off our judgment on Hydroderm’s eye care system until we reviewed the product and its ingredients.

Featured Ingredients
Hydroderm Triple Effects Eye Serum contains three main ingredients, each of which is intended to address one of the main problems of eye-area skin. Acetyl Hexapeptide 3 is added to help reduce wrinkles and crow’s feet near the eye. According to our research, this nutrient does seem to have an effect similar to Botox®, even though it is milder because it is not a toxin-based compound. While we are aware of some research that supports this effect for Acetyl Hexapeptide 3, Hydroderm does not include this information on its web site, so visitors are expected to believe it sight unseen.

Triple Effects Eye Serum also contains Hyaluronic Acid, which is well known in the cosmeceutical field as a powerful moisturizing compound. Hyaluronic Acid holds several thousand times its own weight in water, so it makes a wonderful ingredient for cosmetic formulas, since it helps promote softer skin and nourishes essential components of healthy skin, such as collagen and elastin. Unfortunately, Hydroderm claims that Hyaluronic Acid also reduces the appearance of dark circles. We could not find any research supporting this claim, and are worried about this technical inaccuracy.

Chamomile is also included in the formula to calm the skin and reduce puffiness. While Chamomile is a known botanical ingredient that has a soothing effect on skin (decreasing irritation or swelling), we do not feel this is the best ingredient for diminishing undereye puffiness. It is also important to include ingredients (such as Actiflow) to enhance blood flow in the eye area, which is a more direct and more powerful way of reducing puffiness.

Web Site Description
The Hydroderm web site for Tripe Effects Eye Serum seems basic. It only contains one page of information, which as we noted is not entirely accurate. No scientific research is listed, so consumers cannot be sure of the percentage effects of the formula. Only one testimonial is posted. A free trial is offered, so at least most consumers will not risk too much money by trying out the formula.

Positives
- Hyaluronic acid is known to promote moisturization of skin

- Offers a free trial, which keeps financial risk low

Negatives
- Inaccurate claims - Hyaluronic Acid is not known to reduce dark circles

- Very little information provided - no clinical study statistics

- May contain inferior ingredients, especially for under eye puffiness

Conclusion
Even though we applaud Hydroderm for attempting to create a single formula to address three of the main problems affecting the eye area, we also feel that Triple Effects Eye Serum fall short. We are concerned about some of the inaccurate information included on its web site, and feel that the ingredients could have been more powerful. It is good, however, that consumers get the chance to try the product for free.

Overview
Under EyeBryten was created as a direct competitor to Hylexin, which was one of the first dark circle creams to appear online. The markers of Under EyeBryten claim that consumers can get the same effects of using this formula as they would use Hylexin, at a fraction of the cost. Since our review of Hylexin was slightly less than satisfactory, we were also a bit hesitant to fully endorse Under EyeBryten. However, we withheld our final judgment until we were finished with our complete and thorough review of the formula.

Featured Ingredients
Under EyeBryten, much like Hydroderm’s Triple Effects Eye Serum, is meant to be a “one-size-fits-all” product. In other words, this one formula is supposed to cause multiple effects for improving the appearance of the eye area. It contains ingredients intended to reduce dark circles, diminish under eye puffiness and decrease the appearance of crow’s feet and other types of wrinkles that can occur near the eye. Under EyeBryten supposedly accomplishes all these effects through a combination of several ingredients. Like iQ Derma, Under EyeBryten includes Hyloxyl and Eyeliss. Hyloxyl contains enzymes that are mean to disperse pooled blood (which can be a main cause of dark circles) while also strengthening the capillaries to prevent future dark circles from appearing. Eyeliss consists of proteins that are supposed to promote more efficient blood flow and reduce the swelling that can lead to puffiness and bags. While both of these ingredients do seem to have an effect, we are a bit disappointed that Under EyeBryten also does not contain Lipolight (a remarkable light emission and reflection ingredient) and Actiflow, both of which can increase the brightening and smoothing effects on the eyes.

We were a bit more concerned, though, that Under EyeBryten does not seem to contain any specific ingredients known to reduce crow’s feet or wrinkles. The formula does contain Aloe Vera, which is an important soothing and healing ingredient, but Aloe is not known for its direct anti-wrinkle effect. The product seems to lack any known compounds for wrinkles, such as Glucosamine Complex or Lifting Spheres.

Web Site Description
After several days of researching the Internet, we could not locate a separate web site for Under EyeBryten. This product seems only available through third party vendors, such as Amazon.com or drugstore.com. This is unfortunate, because even though these other web sites do contain some basic information on the product, we prefer to go to the source when completing our reviews. Therefore, we felt a true judgment on Under EyeBryten is still incomplete.

Positives
- Does contain ingredients known for moderate dark circle and puffiness reduction- Seems less expensive than Hylexin and similar brands

Negatives
- No individual web site from the manufacturer - information is incomplete

- No free trial offered

- Lacks full potential to affect the eye area due to absence of key ingredients

Conclusion
Although we believe that it is good for the cosmeceutical marketplace for competitors to challenge each other to keep prices low for the benefit of the consumer, we cannot say whether Under EyeBryten succeeds in offering a similar product as Hylexin for a lower price. Hopefully, the manufacturers complete a full web site for the product, or even more importantly, revise the formula to include known ingredients for dark circles, puffiness, crow’s feet and other signs of aging near the eyes.
